Dr. Alex Maldonado, DDS

Dr. Alex Maldonado was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He received his Bachelors of Science from the University of Florida, and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the prestigious Columbia University in New York City.

Upon graduating from Columbia University in 2016, Dr. Alex completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry with the U.S. Air Force to better serve his patients. During his residency, Dr. Alex received extensive training in cosmetics, oral surgery, IV sedation, implants, gum procedures, as well as prosthodontics. He served 4 years as an officer in the United States Air Force, followed by 3 years in private practice.

Dr. Alex is committed to excellence in dentistry. Quality of work and caring for his patients as his own family members is his #1 priority. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and he continues to invest his time in learning about the latest cosmetic techniques to enhance smiles.

Dr. Alex and his wife Olga enjoy spending their free time with their puppy, Baxter, relaxing on the beach and of course, fishing. He is thrilled to continue the legacy of excellent dental care and compassion at Maldonado Dentistry and cannot wait to meet and get to know each and every patient!
